Grilled Pork Skewers
- 4 whole Boneless Pork Chops
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 18 cups Soy Sauce
- 18 cups Teriyaki Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil, Plus More For Greasing Grill
- 1/2 teaspoons Ground Ginger
- 8 Wooden Skewers
- Trim off any visible fat from the pork, then cut into 1/2-inch strips (4 strips per chop).
- Mince the garlic, and mix with soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, sugar, lemon juice, olive oil, and ginger in a medium bowl.
- Add the pork to the bowl, and toss to coat well.
- Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- To cook: Preheat a grill over medium-high heat and grease with more olive oil.
- Soak wooden skewers for a good 10 minutes in water, to prevent burning.
- Thread the meat onto skewers (2 per stick), and when grill is hot, cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until cooked through and no pink remains.
