Fusion Aloo Rasadar
- 3 large potatoes, diced
- 3 tomatoes, diced
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 1 pinch asafetida powder
- 34 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 34 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 12 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 cup dried Chinese mushrooms, shredded
- Heat oil and add cumin seeds and asafetida powder.
- Let it sizzle for about 30 seconds.
- Add in the tomatoes, turmeric, chilli, salt, and coriander powder and fry for 30 seconds.
- Add your potatoes in and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add in water, bring to a boil, lower to a simmer and cook, covered, for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in mushrooms and garam masala.
- Stir well for 1 min and cover for around another 5 minutes.
- Serve.
