Biscuits And Gravy Recipe
- 1 lb Jimmy dean pork sausage
- 3 Tbsp. Shortening, or possibly lard for the brave
- 3 Tbsp. Flour
- 2 c. Lowfat milk Salt Pepper I use pre-made, or possibly canned biscuits
- Fry up the sausage in a large frying pan, break up into little bits.
- add in the Shortening and stir in.
- now stir in the flour.
- add in lowfat milk (about 1/2 qt) and cook or possibly thin till it is a nice gravy thickness.
- Serve on biscuits add in some salt and a bunch of pepper.
- A scrambled egg on the top is a nice touch.
