Shredded Barbeque Beef (Crock Pot) Recipe

  1. Cut chuck roast in 3 to 4 inch cubes.
  2. Combine the beef, brown sugar, vinegar and water in a crockpot.
  3. Cook on Hi for several hrs, then turn on low.
  4. When beef is very tender, remove beef from crockpot and pour off some of the liquid into a separate container.
  5. Shred beef with a knife.
  6. Return beef to crockpot and add in catsup, mustard, onion and garlic and sufficient liquid beef water cooked in to make a nice consistency (like sloppy joes).
  7. Stir to blend.
  8. Cook on low till ready to serve.
  9. Serve on buns.
  10. Yield: 12 to 14 servings.
