Hot Chili(Texas Style)

  1. Fry bacon until crisp; drain and crumble.
  2. Set the bacon aside and brown the chorizo sausage in the same pan.
  3. Drain the sausage, reserving 2 tablespoons of the drippings and add to the bacon; set aside.
  4. Add the sirloin beef, garlic, green pepper and onions to the reserved drippings and brown.
  5. Transfer to large saucepan. Add bacon, sausage and remaining ingredients.
  6. Bring to a slow boil; simmer, uncovered, for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Makes about 1/2 gallon.
