Cabbage Rolls

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Once thoroughly browned, drain fat.
  4. Dump the cabbage, onions, carrots, salt and pepper into the skillet with the beef.
  5. Cook over medium heat until the cabbage and the onions just begin to soften.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. On a floured work surface, roll out the thawed rolls.
  8. Each one should measure approximately 5 to 6 inches in a rolled circle or square shape.
  9. Using a cookie scoop, place 3 scoopfuls of the beef/cabbage mixture in the center of each piece of dough.
  10. Fold all the edges towards the center.
  11. Place the roll seam side down on a cookie sheet that you have sprayed with cooking spray.
  12. Repeat with the remaining pieces of dough and the rest of the filling.
  13. Bake at 375 F for approximately 20 minutes or until the bread has become golden brown.
