Pork Chops with Honey Apple Topping
- 2 tsp. oil
- 4 bone-in pork loin center chops (1-1/2 lb.), 1/2 inch thick Safeway 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 large Gala apple, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. GREY POUPON Savory Honey Mustard
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat.
- Add chops; cook 1 to 2 min.
- on each side or until evenly browned on both sides.
- Reduce heat to medium; cook chops 6 min.
- on each side or until done (145 degrees F).
- Transfer chops to platter, reserving drippings in skillet; cover chops to keep warm.
- Add onions and apples to skillet; cook on medium-high heat 8 to 10 min.
- or until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in mustard and apple juice; cook and stir until heated through.
- Spoon sauce over chops.
