Low Country Boil
- 1 cup salt
- 3 lemons
- 1 big strong onion
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 can old bay
- 1 old bay boil bag
- 4 stalks celery
- 30 red potatoes
- 9 lb kielbasa
- 24 corn
- 7 lb snowcrab
- 10 lb clams
- 12 lb shrimp
- 4 tbsp cayenne pepper - 6 for super hot, 2 med, 1 mild
- bring 10 gallons water to boil
- add first 8 ingredients
- return to boil
- start watch
- 00 min - add potatoes and kielbasa
- 20 min - add corn
- 35 min - add snowcrab
- 39 min - add clams
- 40 min - add shrimp
- 42 min - add minimal ice to stop boil
- 52 min - serve for mild flavor
- 62 min - serve for medium flavor
- 72 min - server for max flavor
