Baked Raisin French Toast Recipe
- 1 loaf raisin bread
- 6 x Large eggs
- 1 c. Half & half
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 c. Sugar
- Topping- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. minced nuts
- Arrange raisin bread slices in a greased 9" x 13" baking dish, overlapping the slices lengthwise.
- Mix the Large eggs, Half & Half, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Pour over the bread and sprinkle the bread lightly with the cinnamon and sugar.
- Cover and chill overnight.
- Mix butter or possibly margarine, brown sugar and nuts.
- Sprinkle mix over bread.
- Bake at 350 for about 40 min.
