Belgian Cookies

  1. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and egg until light
  2. Sift in dry ingredients
  3. Roll dough and attack with cookie cutters.
  4. Transfer to baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350 Fahrenheit for 10 minutes
  6. Combine icing sugar and milk until it is thick but spreadable.
  7. Cover half of baked cookies with jam and then with another cookie.
  8. Add a dollop of icing sugar and top with a quarter of a cherry.
