Almond Jewel Candy

• 12 cup butter
• 12 cup sugar
• 1 23 cups slivered almonds
• 2 tablespoons corn syrup
• 13 cup candied red cherries
• 13 cup green glazed cherries

1. combine first 4 ingredients together in a heavy 10" skillet.
2. saute until almonds and sugar are golden --
3. remove from heat and sprinkle with cherries, without stirring --
4. drop by tblsful onto waxed paper lined sheets --
5. refrigerate till firm.
6. store in an airtight container at room temperature.
