My Fried Green Tomatoes

  1. Crumb mixture: process in food processor until very fine breadcrumb.
  2. Add garlic and onion powders.
  3. Slice tomatoes to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Pat dry with paper towels.
  5. Dip in egg mixture, then crumb mixture.
  6. Fry in bacon fat until brown on both sides.Keep warm in oven.
  7. Enjoy !
