Lynn Gray'S Chile Dip

  1. Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet.
  2. Drain the fat. Add the ketchup, chili powder, salt, mashed kidney beans and liquid and salsa.
  3. Simmer about 5 minutes.
  4. Spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan, top with cheese and bake until melted in a 350u0b0 oven, 10 to 20 minutes.
  5. Top with chopped green onions and sliced olives, if desired.
  6. Serve with tortilla chips.
