Spinach Party Salad(Great For A Luncheon)

  1. Wash and drain spinach and lettuce well.
  2. Spread spinach in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and sugar.
  4. Add layer of eggs.
  5. Scatter peas on top.
  6. Spread onion rings over that.
  7. Mix mayonnaise and sour cream and spread over top (like frosting on cake).
  8. Arrange Swiss cheese on top.
  9. Refrigerate overnight.
  10. Do not toss.
  11. Add bacon over top before serving.
  12. Cut portions in squares all the way through and serve to plate with spatula.
  13. Tuna, shrimp, turkey, crab or lobster may be added. Serves 8 to 9.
