Peach Pie With Brown Sugar Topping Recipe
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 4 tbsp. flour or possibly 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- Sliced fresh peaches
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 c. minced pecans
- Fill unbaked pie shell with fresh, sliced peaches that have been mixed with sugar, flour and cinnamon.
- Topping: Mix the 1/2 c. brown sugar and 1/2 c. flour.
- Mix brown sugar and flour; cut in butter and shortening till mix is like meal.
- Sprinkle mix over peaches.
- Sprinkle pecans over all.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour or possibly till brown.
