Spaghetti For 50
- 1 1/2 c. salad oil
- 7 lb. ground meat
- 7 onions, chopped fine
- 1 bunch green onions (tops and all)
- 6 large garlic
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. celery salt
- 3 tsp. seasoning salt
- 2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 small hot pepper
- 1 large bottle catsup
- 3 (4 to 6 oz.) cans tomato juice
- 3 cans water
- 1 (12 oz.) tomato paste
- 2 large cans mushrooms and liquid
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp. parsley
- Add oil to electric roaster.
- Add meat.
- Cook 10 minutes.
- Add onions and all seasoning salts.
- Cook 15 to 20 minutes until onions are clear.
- Add catsup, tomato juice, water and mushrooms. Cook 2 to 3 hours real slow.
- Stir occasionally.
- Add bay leaves and parsley.
- Cook spaghetti according to package.
- Cook 1/2 at a time.
- Do not rinse.
- Add to sauce.
- When it starts to boil, turn roaster to 250u0b0
- for 2 hours.
- Do not stir hard.
