Carmelized Onion Dip

  1. In a medium skillet, heat the oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the onions, scallions, 1/4 t. salt and white pepper.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook the onions until they turn a nice golden brown color, stirring frequently, about 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from the heat and let cool down.
  5. Meanwhile, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise.
  6. whipped cream cheese, garlic powder and 1/2 t. salt.
  7. When onion mixture has cooled, stir into sour cream mixture.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
  9. Enjoy!
