Thanksgiving Flan Pie Recipe

  1. In a medium saucepan, mix gelatin, 1/4 c. sugar, spices and salt.
  2. Add in yolks, eggnog and pumpkin.
  3. Beat till mix is proportionately blended.
  4. Cook very slowly, stirring constantly, till gelatin dissolves and mix thickens slightly.
  5. Pour into a large bowl.
  6. Refrigerateabout 20 min, till cool.
  7. In a plastic bag, finely roll 1 package of graham crackers.
  8. Blend crackers, 1/4 c. sugar and melted butter together with a fork.
  9. Press onto bottom of a flan pan.
  10. Refrigerate30 min.
  11. Beat egg whites till foamy.
  12. Slowly beat in 1/2 c. sugar till meringue forms hard peaks.
  13. Fold into pumpkin mix.
  14. Spoon into flan pan.
  15. Refrigerateovernight.
  16. Serve topped with Cold Whip.
