Mabo Dofu

  1. Cut tofu into 1/2-inch cubes.
  2. Set aside and drain well.
  3. Heat oil in skillet.
  4. Add ginger, garlic, green onions and red pepper and stir over high heat.
  5. Brown beef.
  6. Add 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce and reduce to medium heat.
  7. Add ketchup, remainder of soy sauce, wine and soup stock.
  8. Bring to a boil.
  9. Add cornstarch liquid and stir until thickened.
  10. Add green peas.
