Maple Cream Coffee Treat
- 1 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. chopped nuts
- 1/3 c. maple syrup
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 (10 oz.) cans Hungry Jack big flaky biscuits
- Mix together in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan, brown sugar, nuts, maple syrup and 1/4 cup margarine.
- Blend and mix until smooth in separate bowl, cream cheese, powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons margarine.
- Separate biscuit dough into 20 biscuits; press or roll each to a 4-inch circle.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture onto center of each biscuit.
- Overlap dough over filling, forming finger-shaped rolls.
- Place rolls seam side down in a row of 10 over syrup mixture in pan.
- Make 2 rows.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Cool 3 minutes.
- Turn onto serving plate or waxed paper.
