Pan Broiled Pork Chops With Apple Barbecue Sauce

  1. In small saucepan, mix well juice, catsup, sugar, salt, cloves, ginger, garlic and green onion.
  2. Bring to boil; reduce heat, stirring occasionally.
  3. Simmer 20 minutes.
  4. Dip chops in sauce; place in shallow baking dish.
  5. Cover; refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
  6. If time permits, bring chops to room temperature before cooking.
  7. In large skillet, heat oil.
  8. Add chops; cook, turning once, 8 to 10 minutes or until tender and no longer pink inside.
  9. Serve with reheated leftover sauce.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
