Apple & Mulberry Cobbler

  1. Chop the apple into thin pieces.
  2. Place the apple, mulberries, and sugar in a heat-resistant container.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on high for 8 minutes.
  4. While the filling is cooking, make the topping.
  5. Add the flour, oatmeal, wheat bran, sugar, and cinnamon to a bowl and mix.
  6. Pour in the vegetable oil and stir.
  7. Add the egg and milk and stir some more.
  8. Remove the filling from the microwave and stir in 1 tablespoon of flour and mix.
  9. Add another 1/2 tablespoon of flour and mix.
  10. Top the filling with spoonfuls of the topping batter.
  11. Bake in an oven preheated to 200C for 15 minutes and it's done.
  12. Serve with ice cream while still piping hot.
