Sauerkraut Sausages Beer Recipe
- 2 lbs. sauerkraut, well liquid removed
- 1 can (12 ounce.) light beer
- 1 lg. minced onion
- 1 apple, cored and minced
- 2 teaspoon caraway seed
- 6 knockwurst or possibly 1 pound cocktail franks
- In a large saucepan combine sauerkraut, beer, onion, apple and caraway seed.
- Cover lightly and simmer 20 min.
- Add in knockwurst or possibly cocktail franks.
- Simmer another 15 min.
