Bite Size Herb Biscuits

  1. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar and cream of tartar. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Make a well in center.
  3. Add milk, onions and parsley.
  4. Stir until dough clings together.
  5. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough gently 10 to 12 times.
  6. Roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
  7. Cut dough with 1 1/2-inch cutter.
  8. Cook on ungreased pan at 450u0b0 for 6 to 8 minutes. Half biscuits, then split halves.
  9. Put filling in biscuits.
  10. Makes 24 to 28 appetizers.
