Pot Chicken In Casserole Recipe

  1. Put chicken, water, salt, celery top, lemon slice and bay leaf in large saucepan.
  2. Cover and bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  3. Cold chicken and broth.
  4. Drain broth, reserve 1 c..
  5. Throw away chicken skin and bones, cut meat into large pcs; set aside.
  6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  7. Grease 2 qt casserole, heat butter in skillet; saute/fry onion and celery for 5 min, stir in soup, reserved broth, soy sauce and Tabasco.
  8. Remove from heat; stir in chicken and nuts.
  9. Bake 30 min, serve on Chinese noodles.
