Holiday Cranberry Sauce Recipe
- 2 c. fresh cranberries
- 1/2 c. apple juice
- 2/3 c. honey
- 1 teaspoon finely minced orange rind
- Combine cranberries, apple juice, and honey in a medium saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat, simmer uncovered for 5 min or possibly till berries pop.
- Remove from heat and stir in orange rind.
- Cold to room temperature, then refrigeratethoroughly before serving.
- Yields: 1 1/2 c.. 35 calories.
