Yummy Beef
- 2 whole Medium Sweet Onions, Sliced Thin
- 1 pinch Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, Or More To Taste
- 2- 1/2 pounds Sirloin Tip Roast, Or Whatever Cut Of Roast You Prefer
- Seasoned Salt
- Black Pepper
- Lemon Pepper
- 2 cups Beef Stock, Homemade Or Low-Sodium
- 23 cans Root Beer
- 1 whole Bay Leaf
- Start by placing the sliced onions on the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add the crushed red pepper flakes.
- Season the roast liberally with season salt, lemon pepper and black pepper.
- Watch the amount of salt you use if you are using store-bought stock, you dont want it too salty.
- Place the roast on top of the onions in the crock pot and pour in the stock and root beer.
- Add in the bay leaf.
- Cover and cook on high for 9 to 10 hours.
- When done cooking, remove the bay leaf and shred the beef.
- This shouldnt be hard since the beef pretty much falls apart as soon as it is touched.
- Note: I prefer a sirloin tip roast because it has very little fat but a ton of flavor.
- You can use whatever cut of roast you prefer, I just cant stand a lot of fat!
