Yummy Beef

  1. Start by placing the sliced onions on the bottom of the crock pot.
  2. Add the crushed red pepper flakes.
  3. Season the roast liberally with season salt, lemon pepper and black pepper.
  4. Watch the amount of salt you use if you are using store-bought stock, you dont want it too salty.
  5. Place the roast on top of the onions in the crock pot and pour in the stock and root beer.
  6. Add in the bay leaf.
  7. Cover and cook on high for 9 to 10 hours.
  8. When done cooking, remove the bay leaf and shred the beef.
  9. This shouldnt be hard since the beef pretty much falls apart as soon as it is touched.
  10. Note: I prefer a sirloin tip roast because it has very little fat but a ton of flavor.
  11. You can use whatever cut of roast you prefer, I just cant stand a lot of fat!
