Creamy Blue Cheese and Pecan Dip

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Saute pecans in butter until toasted.
  3. Set aside to cool.
  4. In a medium bowl, place cream cheese, blue cheese, half-and-half, garlic and hot sauce and beat with a mixer until smooth.
  5. Stir in cooled pecans and green onions.
  6. Spread dip in dish.
  7. Mix breadcrumbs with parsley and remaining 1 tablespoon melted butter.
  8. Sprinkle on top of dip in the dish.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
  10. Serve with crackers or pita chips.
  11. Also good with pear or apple slices.
