Creamy Blue Cheese and Pecan Dip
- 3 Tablespoons Butter, Divided
- 1 cup Chopped Pecans
- 2 packages (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese
- 1 package (4 Oz. Size) Blue Cheese
- 1/4 cups Half-and-half
- 1/2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- 1/4 teaspoons Hot Sauce, Frank's Recommended
- 3 whole Green Onions, Minced
- 1 cup Fresh Bread Crumbs
- 1/4 cups Minced Fresh Parsley
- 1 Tablespoon Butter, Melted
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Saute pecans in butter until toasted.
- Set aside to cool.
- In a medium bowl, place cream cheese, blue cheese, half-and-half, garlic and hot sauce and beat with a mixer until smooth.
- Stir in cooled pecans and green onions.
- Spread dip in dish.
- Mix breadcrumbs with parsley and remaining 1 tablespoon melted butter.
- Sprinkle on top of dip in the dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve with crackers or pita chips.
- Also good with pear or apple slices.
