Amaretto Cookies Recipe

• 1/2 c. Butter
• 2 Tbsp. Molasses
• 2 x Large eggs
• 1 c. Almonds, grnd toasted
• 1/2 tsp Lemon rind grated
• 1 tsp Almond extract
• 1/2 c. Amaretto liqueur
• 2 c. Pastry flour, whole wheat

1. Cream together butter and molasses.
2. Add in Large eggs, grnd almonds, lemon rind and almond extract; mix well.
3. Stir in Amaretto alternately with flour.
4. Drop by teaspoonsful onto unoiled cookie sheets.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min.
6. Cookies will be golden when done.
