Terrific Tarts

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. With an electric mixer, cream together the butter and the granulated sugar.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating briefly after each addition.
  4. Add extracts and flour.
  5. Beat until smooth.
  6. Grease a jelly roll pan and pour mixture into pan. With the blade of a table knife, mark off 20 squares.
  7. Put one tablespoon of pie filling in the middle of each square.
  8. Bake at 350u0b0 for 27 minutes.
  9. Let cool in pan for 15 minutes.
  10. Put a small amount of powdered sugar into a strainer and sprinkle a light dusting of the sugar onto the tarts.
  11. Cut into marked squares.
