Banana Chutney Recipe
- 1/2 lb ripe red bananas (can use regular)
- 6 ounce guava nectar
- 1 med red onion, coarsely minced
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- 2 Tbsp. veg. oil
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- Saute/fry the onions in the oil till soft.
- Add in the bananas and cook additional 5 min.
- Add in guava nectar and brown sugar, and simmer for about 10 min.
- Remove from heat and add in lime juice.
- Can be made and refrigerated the day before.
- Serve at room temperature.
