Three Bean Sausage Chili

• 3 medium onions, chopped
• 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
• 2 green bell peppers, cored and chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, crushed
• 2 lbs. ground pork
• 1/2 lb. sweet Italian sausage, casings removed
• 1 pkg. chili seasoning mix
• 2 cans plum tomatoes in juice (28 to 35 oz. each)
• 1 (18 oz.) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
• 1 (18 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
• 1 (18 oz.) can white beans, rinsed and drained

1. Add water to cover. Cook onions until tender. Add peppers and garlic and cook
2. 5 minutes. Brown pork and sausage in 2 or 3 batches and drain fat. Mix meats and chili mixture in pot and cook 1 minute. Add tomatoes and beans and bring to boil. Simmer 20 minutes. (Add water to cover before simmering.)
