Sour Cream Burger Recipe
- 1 1/4 pound grnd chuck (20% fat!)
- 4 tbsp. lowfat sour cream
- 6 teaspoon onion, minced very fine or possibly grated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd pepper
- 4 English muffins
- Unsalted butter
- In a large bowl, combine the grnd beef, lowfat sour cream, onion, salt and pepper.
- Mix with a fork, without mashing or possibly compacting the meat!
- Preheat a skillet over moderate heat.
- GENTLY form the mix into 4 patties, and place in the skillet.
- Cook 3 min, turn, cook 3 more min for medium rare, or possibly to taste.
- Serve on toasted and buttered English muffins.
- Serves 4.
