Bacon-Mushroom Wraps

  1. Fry bacon until crisp.
  2. Remove to paper toweling.
  3. Drain fat, reserving 3 tablespoons.
  4. Cook mushrooms, garlic and onion in drippings until vegetables are soft.
  5. Crumble bacon and add to mushroom mixture.
  6. Add cheese, oregano and thyme.
  7. Chill 1 to 2 hours.
  8. On a flat surface, stack 10 sheets of filo on wax paper. Cut stack lengthwise into 5 strips.
  9. Using two strips at a time, brush with butter and put a heaping teaspoonful of the filling at the bottom end of strip.
  10. Fold up filling so bottom end meets left edge of the dough strip.
  11. Continue to fold, forming a triangle. Put on a baking sheet and bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden.
