Super-Duper Doughnuts(The Spice Is Nice!)

  1. In a deep-fryer, heat oil to 375u0b0F (190u0b0C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine Quick Mix, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Blend well. In a small bowl, mix together vanilla, egg and milk or water.
  4. Add all at once to dry ingredients.
  5. Stir until well-blended.
  6. On a lightly floured surface, knead dough about 10 minutes.
  7. Roll out to 1/2-inch thickness and cut with a floured doughnut cutter.
  8. Fry in hot oil about 1 minute on each side, until golden brown.
  9. Drain on paper towels.
  10. While doughnuts cool slightly, prepare Vanilla Glaze. Dip warm doughnuts in glaze.
  11. Makes about 12 doughnuts.
