Libby's Pumpkin Pound Cake

  1. In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
  2. In large bowl, cream butter andamp; sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add pumpkin and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time.
  5. Add dry ingredients; mix well.
  6. Pour batter into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan or a 12-cup bundt cake pan.
  7. Bake in preheated 350F (180C) F oven for 60 to 65 minutes or until test skewer inserted into centre comes out clean.
  8. Cool 15 minutes.
  9. Remove from pan; cool on wire rack.
  10. Drizzle with your favourite sugar glaze if desired.
