Pickup

• 1 1/2 ounces rye whiskey
• 3/4 ounce Fernet-Branca
• 2 dashes Pernod
• 2 or 3 ice cubes
• Slice lemon

1. Combine all ingredients except the lemon slice in a mixing glass and stir gently.
2. Strain into a cocktail glass and drop in the lemon.
