Brown Rice, Pressure Cooker Recipe

  1. To cook reduced quantities: reduce all ingredients proportionately but notbelow one-fourth.

  3. Pour water into cooker.
  4. Bring to boil on high heat.
  5. Add in rice and salt.
  6. Stir.

  8. Close cooker.
  9. Bring to full pressure on high heat.
  10. Reduce heat and cook for 18 min.
  11. 3.
  12. Remove cooker from heat.
  13. Allow to cold naturally for 5 min.
  14. Press finger-tip control lightly to release pressure.
  15. 4.
  16. Open cooker.
  17. Yield: 6 c.
