Brown Rice, Pressure Cooker Recipe
- 4 c. water
- 2 c. long-grain brown rice
- 1 tsp salt
- To cook reduced quantities: reduce all ingredients proportionately but notbelow one-fourth.
- 1.
- Pour water into cooker.
- Bring to boil on high heat.
- Add in rice and salt.
- Stir.
- 2.
- Close cooker.
- Bring to full pressure on high heat.
- Reduce heat and cook for 18 min.
- 3.
- Remove cooker from heat.
- Allow to cold naturally for 5 min.
- Press finger-tip control lightly to release pressure.
- 4.
- Open cooker.
- Yield: 6 c.
