Maple Cream Cheese Coffee Treat
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1/3 c. maple flavored syrup
- 1/4 c. margarine, melted
- 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
- 2 (10 oz. each) cans Hungry Jack biscuits
- Mix the first 4 ingredients in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan. Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar and margarine in a separate bowl.
- Beat until smooth.
- Flatten biscuits and spoon cream cheese mixture on biscuits.
- Fold biscuits to overlap and pinch dough so cream cheese is sealed in the dough.
- Place biscuits seam side down in pan.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Cool in pan 3 to 5 minutes before turning upside down on serving plate.
- Best if served warm.
- Great for breakfast!!
