Tender Corn Crisp Steak Recipe
- 2 pound steak of choice, lb. well
- 1 tbsp. shortening
- 1/2 c. warm water
- Heat shortening in skillet.
- Add in steak and water and simmer 20 min.
- Remove from skillet and add in salt and pepper to taste.
- Dip each piece in batter and return to warm grease, browning on both sides.
- Serve warm.
