Baby Scallops with Green Onions and a Salty, Lemon Sauce
- 150 grams+ Baby scallops
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Cooking sake
- 1 Lemon juice
- 1 dash Black pepper (optional)
- Note: Since we will be using fresh baby scallops, we need to weigh them since the sizes are all different.
- This time I used 152 g.
- Finely slice the green onion.
- I used long and slightly large green onions this time.
- Combine the ingredients and mix with the scallops.
- Leave for 10 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan with no oil.
- Add Step 3, including the liquid, and cook both sides on medium-low.
- How to not burn the green onion Method 1) Place everything on frying pan safe aluminum foil, cover with a lid and steam.
- Method 2) Only cook the scallops from Step 3 and add the green onion right before they are done cooking
- When they have finished cooking, squeeze on some lemon, stir it in, and enjoy!
- Optionally season with black pepper.
