Baby Scallops with Green Onions and a Salty, Lemon Sauce

  1. Note: Since we will be using fresh baby scallops, we need to weigh them since the sizes are all different.
  2. This time I used 152 g.
  3. Finely slice the green onion.
  4. I used long and slightly large green onions this time.
  5. Combine the ingredients and mix with the scallops.
  6. Leave for 10 minutes.
  7. Heat a non-stick frying pan with no oil.
  8. Add Step 3, including the liquid, and cook both sides on medium-low.
  9. How to not burn the green onion Method 1) Place everything on frying pan safe aluminum foil, cover with a lid and steam.
  10. Method 2) Only cook the scallops from Step 3 and add the green onion right before they are done cooking
  11. When they have finished cooking, squeeze on some lemon, stir it in, and enjoy!
  12. Optionally season with black pepper.

scallops, salt, sesame oil, vegetable oil, sake, lemon juice, black pepper
