Tiramisu

  1. In an electric mixture, prepare cream mixture by whipping sugar and egg yolks on high speed until pale yellow and thick.
  2. With mixer on medium speed, add cream cheese and whip until smooth.
  3. Add mascarpone and Marsala.
  4. Mix until incorporated.
  5. Fold in whipped cream.
  6. Refrigerate.
  7. Combine espresso, additional Marsala, sugar and warm water.
  8. Dip ladyfingers in espresso mixture.
  9. Place one layer of dipped ladyfingers on bottom of serving platter.
  10. Top with one layer of cream mixture.
  11. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers.
  12. Top with a second layer of cream mixture.
  13. Sift sweetened cocoa over top.
