Potato Ham Soup
- 8 large potatoes
- 3 medium carrots
- 2 stalks celery
- 2 cups cooked ham, diced
- 12 teaspoon tarragon
- 12 teaspoon dry mustard
- 12 teaspoon basil
- 2 tablespoons chicken base or 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon granules
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 18 teaspoon salt
- 2 dashes garlic
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup half-and-half
- Dice potatoes.
- Slice carrots and celery.
- Place vegetables into 5 quart pot.
- Cover with water and let cook until tender.
- Add spices, base or bouillon and ham.
- Add butter and half and half.
- Cook until heated through.
- Makes about 12 (1 1/2 cup) servings.
