Martha's Homemade Yeast Rolls Recipe
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 1 egg white
- 1 heaping tbsp. lard
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water in a c..
- Beat egg white; add in lard and sugar.
- Mix thoroughly and add in 1 c. lukewarm water.
- Add in yeast mix.
- Add in flour and salt.
- Let set in hot place till double, 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.
- Work out into rolls, place in pan.
- Let rise till double.
- Bake in warm oven, 400 to 425 degrees till brown, 8 to 10 min.
