Nut Pepper Biscotti

  1. Combine the dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. Cream the butter until light. Gradually add sugar.
  3. Mix in eggs, one at a time. Add orange peel, vanilla and nuts. Add dry ingredients and mix until blended. Chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour. Grease and flour baking sheet. Divide and shape dough into 1 1/2-inch wide logs. Bake in preheated 350u0b0 oven until light brown, about 20 minutes. Cool slightly and cut on diagonal into 1/2-inch wide slices.
  4. Turn cut side down and bake until golden, about 15 minutes.
  5. Cool. These freeze well.
