Poppyseed Dressing for Fruit
- 1 12 cups sugar
- 23 cup cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons onion juice
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 12 medium onion, chopped
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- Rough chop onion and place in blender.
- Add vinegar and blend.
- Add remaining ingredients, except poppyseed, and blend until sugar is dissolved.
- Slowly add vegetable oil until emulsified.
- Pour into bowl and stir in poppy seeds.
- Refrigerate after using, but always bring to room temperature when you get dressing out of the fridge to use again.
- Will keep in refrigerator for several weeks.
