Cedar Plank Salmon

  1. Start by soaking your cedar plank in some salted water for 1 1/2-2 hours.
  2. Once the plank is soaked and you are ready to prepare the salmon ...
  3. Pick through your salmon to make sure there are no bones left.
  4. Season the fillets with salt and pepper, then spread each with 1 tablespoons of Dijon mustard and brown sugar.
  5. Heat your grill to medium-high heat.
  6. When heated place the plank over indirect heat and let the plank heat for up about 5 minutes.
  7. Add the salmon.
  8. Cook salmon until the internal temperature of the salmon is 135 F and the fish is nice and flaky.
  9. Serve with roasted veggies and rice.
