Waldorf Salad

  1. Wash and core apples, but do not peel.
  2. Dice into large bowl.
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
  4. Add celery, grapes and cheese; toss.
  5. Combine mayonnaise with cream.
  6. Pour over salad and toss to coat.
  7. Refrigerate until serving time.
  8. Add walnuts and toss again.
  9. Toast the walnuts for 10 minutes at 350 F for better flavor.
