Spinach Casserole
- 2 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
- 1 roll jalapeno cheese
- 1 small can evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. liquid from cooked spinach
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onion
- 3/4 tsp. celery salt
- 3/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp. salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- buttered bread crumbs
- Cook spinach as directed on box; reserve 1/2 cup liquid.
- Melt butter, add flour and stir until smooth.
- Add onion; cook until tender.
- Add liquids and stir until smooth.
- Slice the cheese (use 1/2 of the roll if you don't want it too hot).
- Add seasonings, stir until cheese is melted.
- Add the spinach and stir until mixed thoroughly.
- Pour into a casserole dish; top with buttered bread crumbs.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Best if made the night before.
