Favorite Fried Rice
- 2 cups rice
- 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
- 14 cup canola oil
- 3 eggs, whipped
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 12 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 cup carrot
- 14 cup oyster sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons cooking sherry
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 pinch pepper
- Boil rice in 4 cups water mixed with the hoisin sauce.
- Pour into shallow dish and put in fridge to cool.
- Heat oil in wok.
- Add garlic, ginger, onion, peas and carrots and saute for 1 minute.
- Add the eggs and cook like an omelet.
- Mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, sherry, sesame oil and pepper.
- Add rice to wok.
- Pour sauce over rice and mix.
- Serve and enjoy.
